This is typical Avery. Since I like familiar plots and outcomes this one is good. There were several typos, but I decided to ignore them. What made the book for me was the plot line about suppressing cures for bad diseases for the sake of making more money. Having knowledge that this sort thing happens did it for me.
Brandt and his cousin Ryan wanted to share a woman! Joelle is hiding in pine creek! Come back and visit with the Morgan brothers of pine creek located in big sky country! And there will be guest appearances from some of miss gales most memorable characters!!!!!
Like this series by author when I didn't care for in other series. While in other series women were owned, trained, shared and punished in a neanderthal way. In this series, while men are dominant, and Doms they have valid, somewhat realistic and believable reasons for actions as fictional characters. Still some club activity but fun for all. At no point in this book did I roll my eyes and think "yeah right" NOT!
Loved this book!! Avery Gale writes such intensely, heart tugging books, and this one was no different. I don't give away any story info in reviews, so I will just say this series is great! With all the books Ms. Gale has written, it never fails to amaze me how she can keep writing more without it seeming like you are reading the same scenarios over again . Her books, including this one, have suspense, family, love, mild BDSM, and humor, yet keep you engrossed to the very end. I cannot wait for the next ones!!!
Joelle was hiding and only the next to the youngest Morgan knew why. Brandt was finally fighting his way back to normal after a horrific last Seal mission and had his sights set on Noelle. He wondered if she was a trained submissive by the natural responses he received from her. He found out the hard way that not only was she a submissive, but his cousin Ryan was also interested in her, and she was hiding who and what she was from him.
Read the adventure of the second oldest Morgan brother and his cousin as they try and keep Joelle safe.
I have been waiting for this book and now I will be waiting for the next one too. Joelle is not completely who she claimed to be. It helps that her middle name is her mother's maiden name and she can easily drop her last name and hide out. Brandt who has been lusting after her for almost a year had no idea. In comes Ryan, his cousin and blows Joelle's cover to pieces. Brandt and Ryan are close and would love to share a woman. It just so happens that that woman is Joelle. As a submissive, Joelle is on-board with that as she has feelings for both men.
Tobi, Gracie and the Prairie Winds gang join the fun and this book is full of Tobi's antics. I absolutely loved it.
Just let me say that I am a huge fan of Avery Gale's and I have loved all her books!! This one is no exception! I love that she brought the ménage element back into Brandt's story by including his cousin, Ryan. Joelle is hiding from the world because of her discovery of a new drug that could save millions of lives. Of course, there are bad people who don't want that happening and when Brandt and Ryan find out, they call in their cousins from the Prairie Winds Club. Seeing Tobi, Gracie and Regi from that series was so nice and they haven't changed a bit. Neither have their Doms! All in all, this book was a wonderful escape and I can't wait to read more books in this series!
